Things I’m grateful for or that made me feel good today:

1. Dad is fetching the car part.
2. Hot coffee. Have tried 4 cups, 2 level scoops and Light this morning. The coffee is much better.
3. It rained some during the night, so I get to play with the water butts again.
4. I’ve had the idea of getting some clear tubing and fixing it to the side of the butt, then through a hole in the side, so I can see at a glance how much water is in the butt. It’s just an excuse to fiddle, really. And it’s going to add another hole to the butt, which isn’t really an ideal thing.
5. My £50 token from HO has arrived, so I can pay for the water butt and whatnot (I need some medium density blocks) without actually paying.
6. The first DVD from Tesco has arrived.
7. I have so much wealth.
8. Being mentioned on the Radio.
9. Emptied #1 butt into #2 butt.
10. Have fed, watered and Bach Flowered the climbing rose outside the back gate. The strawberries appear to be pest free now, and the signs are good for a huge crop, so I’m going to try the healing thing on the rose, because it’s plastered with greenfly.
11. Dad has paid a cheque in for me today, so I haven’t had to go to the building society.
12. The sponge filter on the butt seems to be working well. Lot’s of crud is on top of it, which is cool. I think now I’m going to have to get a bigger sponge, and fit it in as a circle, into the bottle, just underneath the inlet. That will stop the majority of the bits before they get to the tight. Anything that gets through them both will be so small they wont be worth worrying over.
13. Having something to heat up for my dinner.
