Things I’m grateful for or that made me feel good today:

1. Getting a good night’s sleep. I went to bed at about 11:30, and kept waking up during the night. Dead on 5AM I woke up, wondering what time it was, and then the clock chimed. Got up about 10:30.
2. Haven taken the Bach Flowers 2x. White Chestnut.
3. Watching Firefly yesterday. I love the episode Trash. Specifically, Mal and Saffron in scenes together. And right at the end, with Inara. “Honey, you look horrific !”
4. Realising that I always feel more wealthy when I’ve achieved/created something. Yesterday, with the filter, was a case in point.
5. Realising that I’m losing some weight. I still have a potbelly, but my ribs are becoming better defined.
6. Getting San’s job done. Still not fixed properly, but she has so much junk on there (IE has 4 toolbars…) it’s a bit of a pain.
7. Emptied the waterbutt again.
8. Have had some new idea’s for the filter - either a thicker tight or a pair of socks. Or maybe some kind of sponge, to go on top.
9. Realising that I “want to know what I desire”, and by the time I work that out, I’ll have learned the lesson.
10. Rain is forecast for tonight, so I get to play with the butt again.
11. A tasty evening meal. Pork chop, with 3 types of veg.
12. Cleaned the waterbutt, inside and out. I cleaned all the dirt out, then put some bleach through.
13. The filter appears to be working quite well. I’ve taken some water out of the top butt, with sediment in, and put it though the filter. When I got some of the water out of the bottom, all that was in it was material about 1mm in size. That should pass right through the filter on the pump, which will accept material up to 4mm in size.
14. Rescue Cream.
15. Have burned some essential oils.
16. Warm apple crumble, with cinnamon. Yum yum.
17. Finding that I still have the receipt for my pump guarantee. I don’t need it, but it’s good to know that I do have it, in case I ever do.
18. Put some Jeyes fluid on some old teabags to help deter next doors cat. I don’t know if it will work or not, but it’s worth a try. Will also sprinkle
19. Have found a supplier for some greenhouse guttering, on ebay.
20. Have just been up the garden, in the rain, to have a look at the filter. I’m pleased to report that it’s working rather well.
21. Have changed my touch lamp (with 40w bulb, using a minimum of 25w) to an ordinary one, with an 11w ESL.
22. Have done the same with the hall lamp. This lamp isn’t working ATM, but I’m going to change the fuse tomorrow before I fiddle about with the other lamp again.
23. Am hopefully going round garden centres tomorrow with the French.
24. Mom has provisionally agreed to another water butt.

1. Getting my desk cleared off. MANIFESTED.
2. Nit’s Aspidistra potted up.

1. Visited San earlier on today, to have a look at her PC.
