Things I’m grateful for or that made me feel good today:
- My monitor comes today.
- I’ve realised I may need Gentian. I perhaps have less faith in myself than I could.
- Hot coffee. Glorious.

- I finally got all the disks burned last night.
- The weather is lovely.
- Coffee filter papers. Such an incredibly simple thing, but I find them so useful.
- Getting up early.
- My body is able to heal and repair itself. For instance, I somehow got a cut on my hand. Without any attention from me, it’s getting better, and soon I wont even remember I had it. It’ll just be back to the way it was before I got cut. Perfect. Unmarred.
- We had a powercut, which the budgie really enjoyed, because lots of house alarms were going off.
- Since I reinstalled Windows, hyperlinks now open in the browser. I did something last time, and they didn’t. Which was really frustrating, but it’s sorted now.
- Have finally gotten round to changing the sheets on the bed.
- Have potted up the China Sun aspidistra, and found 2 new shoots on it.

- I’ve been up the garden, and picked a few strawberries. The plants have some runners on them, so I’m going to propagate them.
- I actually felt quite liberated by not having any electricity.
- I’ve tidied up my desk and the clothes pile. Took me about 10 minutes.
- The monitor is here! Hurrah!
OK, that was a bit Famous Five, but you get the idea.
Hopefully, next time I update this blog I’ll be doing it on my new monitor. - Yes, it’s working, and looking very nice too. I still need to do some fiddling with regards to font sizes and such, but it’ll all work out.
- Films look great on the new monitor. Especially Firefly.
I’ve just watched Our Mrs Reynolds, and it looked great. Some very funny lines in that episode. Christina Hendricks is pretty hot too. Especially right at the end. - The new monitor uses ~40w while running, and next to nothing when turned off. Way way less than the old one.

- Having a nice hot shower. 7.35m.
- Putting the muesli in the bowl before having a shower makes it much easier to eat.
- Took some more Spearmint cuttings.
- Trimmed my beard. Must still be smarting from San’s scarecrow comment.

- Have sort of made friends with next doors cat. It came and sniffed my hand today.
- The sweet peas in the hanging basket (don’t ask…) are going to flower. The maroon petunias are looking nice too.
- 10k@3s.
- Got everything off my joblist done.
- Chatted to Shaun.
- Have noshed an organic peach. Sister’s veg box delivery has arrived.
- Faggots, chips and peas for tea. Yum yum.

- Have noshed another peach. They’re very tasty.
- I’m going to have a bath. I didn’t have one this weekend, probably on account of the weather, so I’m having one now.
- The bath was lovely. There’s something very extravagant about all that hot water.
- “Every misery I avoid is another blessing”. I don’t recall who said it, but it struck me.
- Reading Wealth 101.
- I had the thought tonight that I look at junk food as representing wealth, somehow? Like, if I have lots of junk food, to eat, I’m somehow better off? Or maybe it’s to do with to being allowed to have it? Maybe its a rebellion thing?
- My chiller mug. It’s fantastic for cooling down after a bath, with some cold water and lemon.
Things I want to manifest:
- My monitor arriving soon, safely.
- Getting everything off my job list done. MANIFESTED.
Things I’ve done for others:
