Tuesday 24th July
Things I’m grateful for or that made me feel good today:
- My wonderful & fantastic bed.
- Having a long lie in in that bed, until 11:30.
- Having weird dreams about flying again.
- I’m off work all day today.
- I have a job list ready to work on.
- Seeing a Red Admiral butterfly on the buddleia at the top of the garden.
- The weather is very sunny with lots of blue sky. Makes a nice change from the heavy rains and flooding that we’ve had just recently.
- Hot coffee.
- Moving through the Mustard seems to be the case. I feel much more happy and joyful today.
- I’ve managed to merge my old SIT blog with my new SIT one. This is very cool.

- I’m creating full backups of all my blogs and storing them locally. I’m using BlogBackupOnline to do this. It’s a really good free service, with lots of features.
- A hot shower.
- My ability to balance. I got out of the shower and started to dry my feet. I realised that I’d be in a right pickle if I couldn’t balance on one foot.
- Having plenty of rainwater stored to water the plants with.
- I found a Firefox extension that will let you save a webpage as an image. I was looking for one that will let you save a page as a .pdf, but this works just as well. It’s great for order confirmations and such.
- I’ve tidied up my desk and the pile of clothes that needed sorting out.
- I’ve also ordered mom’s photos.
- Watched a rove beetle gnawing on something in the garden.
- I’ve narrowed the memory problem to Firefox, Gmail and Roboform. For some reason, when I visit Gmail in Firefox, with Roboform enabled, memory usage shoots up 500mb. I’m still debugging it right now, but I’m getting close to figuring out what is going on.
- Chatted to Shaun.
- I’ve gotten rid of the virus I got infected with somewhere along the line.
- Have watered and deadheaded the plants.
- Have sort of figured out what is going on with Roboform. It still uses about 200mb more memory than it should, with 6.9.5, but that’s the latest version with a clean install. I’m going to try to get it to crash with Talkback enabled, and see if it will let me send an error report to the dev’s. Not much else I can do here. It’s not like I regularly visit Gmail in Firefox. [UPDATE] Have sent a report. Don’t know if it will help, or if they care, but there you go.
- I’ve discovered a way to rescue the situation if I Publish to the wrong blog first. Save a posting as a draft on the blog I want at the top of the list, then republish.
- The OpenOffice installer is working fine on the VPC. There’s probably a registry setting that’s been left behind from a previous install on the Windows installation, so I’m going to leave it until the next time I reinstall. It seems to be working OK, so it should be fine on a fresh install.
- Have worked out a naming convention for the packages - “progname progversion.rar”
- Alice Peacock and Amanda Marshall.
- Vege tea.
- Have update the Thunderbird Installer to 2.0.0.5.
- MIM - not having to sit and eat a meal with the family.
- Getting everything off my job list completed.
- Hot fruit tea.
- Watching Xena.
- Found the new bedding quickly and easily, without having to dive headfirst into the airing cupboard to grab hold of them.
- Changed the duvet cover in less than 2m30s.

Things I want to manifest:
- Getting everything off my joblist done. MANIFESTED.
- A nice surprise. MANIFESTED.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Sent in a Firefox crash report.
