We visited a local beauty spot, and I actually had fun.

Getting one over on Gary, my boss. I was ill, so I phoned in sick. He wasn’t best pleased, so I told him “I’m sure you’ll get over it”, which caused him to hang up the phone on me. I’m laughing about this right now.

I avoided a traffic accident. This is the precursor to the “safe driving” that I’m often grateful for these days.

The pink flowered prunus. I was driving away from a friends house, when I saw a flowering cherry tree that had pink blossom. It was absolutely plastered with blossom, with loads more on the grass. It looked just like pink snow, there was so much of it.
