Things I’m grateful for or that I’ve appreciated today:
- Getting up early in time for work.
- Only having to work 5.5 hours.
- My bed.
- My glasses.
- That I have a job to go to.
- Breakfast cereals.
- Netvouz now opens in a new tab.

- A nice warm shower.
- Cool music. Hey There Delilah by the Plain White T’s.
- Having time to sit and gather before work.
- Safe driving.
- My car started.

- Work went well. Some training would be nice though.
- I got some cheap books from work. 2 on cookery and one on origami.
- A parcel arrived this morning, which was some wooden puzzles I ordered from ebay.
- There follows a conversation I had with Nat tonight. “Thanks for putting XP on the computer.” I look at her blankly. “You’ve put XP on the computer? It’s come on tonight with XP…?” “It’s always been XP…” I replied. 18 months she’s had it, and she hadn’t realised it was XP.

- I’ve cancelled the order I made on Amazon of the coffee grinder, and bough exactly the same thing on ebay instead. Amazon weren’t going to dispatch it for at least another fortnight.
- My 1% cashback credit card.
- The fan heater in my bedroom.
- Wenna.
- Having cash in my pocket. I always feel better when I have money on hand, even if it’s only a fiver in at the bottom of the pot.
- Food. Just generally, food. Being able to cook it for myself.
- Willow.
- Awareness of the fact that this blog has become stale. I’m not feeling it any more. It’s not a vibrant joy to come and post here. I wonder what I can do to spice it up a bit? Any ideas?
- The little 2 seahorse model I’ve created from one of the 3 wooden sets I got sent today. It’s quite simple, but still quite effective. In fact, the more and more I look at it the more and more I want to paint it blue. And then touch it up with pale green and gold. Ooh, that would be fun.
- A tasty bacon, leek and celery omelette.
- It’s bath night!
I completely forgot. - I can see. Perhaps not as well as I’d like, but I can see.
- The fact that I breathe automatically. How much more difficult would life be if we had to think about breathing?
- The time I spent appreciating fruit tonight - 3 satsumas.
- A lovely hot bath. “O water hot is a noble thing!”
- Some more insights and ideas, regarding the blog.
- Watching The Vicar of Dibley. Very funny.

- Seeing Wenna do her yoga. She’s part greyhound, and has really long legs. When she gets up, she stretches her front legs first by putting them out and leaning back with her bum in the air, then she does her back legs by putting them out behind her and pushing her chest forwards. Then she sort of “flicks” her feet off the floor. And then she’s ready to go.

- Alice Peacock on random.
- That I love myself enough to try to enhance and improve myself. To make myself glow more.
- That it’s no bad thing to be a giver. There are too many in life who just take.
- I’m glad I didn’t go out tonight to a relatives house. I’ve had a much better night here at home, alone.
- Chatted to the French and made arrangements to go out on New Years day.
- Having the idea to list things to be grateful for based on a theme - books, for example. I could be grateful for writing, reading, being able to see, blogs, certain authors, etc.
- Realising that it’s not just the present that I can be grateful for. I can be grateful for the accident I missed yesterday, and the medical advancements that will keep me alive tomorrow.
- Having the idea to do a yearly roundup on Dec 31st of some of my favourite things to be thankful for in 2007. Perhaps on a month by month basis. What would be really cool would be going back through the blog and seeing how many times I was grateful for each individual thing, but I’m tired just reading that sentence.

Things I want to manifest:
- A clubcard.
- More determination of what I want in life.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Served lots of customers.
- Left positive feedback.
