Things I’m Grateful For on Friday 1 February
Things I’m grateful for or that I’ve appreciated today:
- Someone finally asked for the Kiva Certificate last night.
- I’m not in work until 1PM.
- Nice weather. It seems that a lot of American’s are dealing with lots snow right now.
- Hot fruit tea. It really helps me pull myself together in the morning. I’d have coffee, but I know I’ll appreciate that more when I get in from work.
- Finding a new artist whose songs I might like.
- Having plenty of time to myself before work.
- The Bach Flowers.
- My glasses.
- Wenna.
- I won the Alice Peacock auction.
- Breakfast cereals.
- A nice warm shower.
- Having enough money to pay the credit card bill.
- That I can have a reasonable faith that my car will start today.
- That I’m not the person I was a year ago.
- Safe driving.
- All the problems I created at work today were
eventuallysorted out. - I’m doing News tomorrow, which means I won’t be on the till.
- Half price chocolate.
- I’m in for the night now.
- Getting some cool new music.
- Amanda Marshall - If I Didn’t Have You. Such a beautiful song.
- Hot coffee.
- Not overeating a pizza. I couldn’t finish 2 slices.
- Several schway’s. Nom nom nom!
- I spoke to Rani. We’re going to meet up soon to see a film.
- Having fuel in the car.
- Correctly guessing the end of a TV show before it happened.
- My feed reader.
- A nice nap. I probably wont sleep early now, but there’s no guarantee I’ll sleep early anyway…
- Realising that I’m at the portal to the next level. I can’t say it’s a fun place to be, but it’s certainly going to be an interesting one over the next few days/weeks. I feel as though I’m in the run up to the jump - the psyching myself up, the deep breath, the pacing off the distance. I know intellectually that I’m going to land, and look behind me, and see that there was nothing to worry about - that the abyss that I think is there is just an illusion, but right now, my heart is saying that I need to learn to fly to get over it. Oh well. Nobody ever said it would be easy. And if they did, and you heard them, tell them that they’re wrong. Then point and laugh.
- Wenna. I know that this was also #9, but I’m finding a lot of comfort in her tonight. Sitting watching her sniffing the air, or gently stroking her ears, has really centred me.
- Finding a way to save a website I thought had gone completely.
- Having a project for tomorrow afternoon.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
- My own mistakes.
- Some customers.
Things I want to manifest:
- Direction and desire. MANIFESTED. Sort of, anyway.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Served lots of customers.

I love finding new artists! I have to rely on other people’s blog or You Tube since my radio station only plays the same songs over and over.
Here in Chicago,One Foot of snow… :o( On the other hand my dogs make me smile when they play in it.

Have you ever tried Pandora? You input an artist you like, and it plays music by other similar artists.

It’s variously Blackberry and Nettle, Cranberry and Apple (quite astringent this one, but good for waking up to), Strawberry, Raspberry and Elderflower (I tend to drink this when I have a cold), Cherry (very “fruity”) or Pineapple and Grapefruit green tea. The last is very refreshing, great for hot summer days.

Quite probably. I’ve bought them off ebay in the past, but I think you might be able to get them from health food shops. Or perhaps Trader Joe’s?
