Things I’m Grateful For on Saturday 1 March
Things I am grateful for or that I’ve appreciated today:
- Getting up in time. I woke at 6 with my alarm, but felt muggy, so I set a 1 minute snooze on my phone. Unfortunately, I must have gone to sleep before I started the countdown, because I woke again 10 minutes later. But never mind, it’s all worked out, and I’m up and about in plenty of time.
- Breakfast cereals.
- Lani Nash - So far So Good. It’s about waking up the morning after a one night stand. Quite funny.
- I’m only working a few hours this morning.
- A nice hot shower.
- The house survived the awful weather last night.
- I’m off work tomorrow.
- I’m functioning. This is much much better than it could have been.
- Lovefilm have sent out another couple of DVD’s to me yesterday, so I should get them today.
- I’m really used to my morning routine now, so it’s taking me less time to do.
- Hot coffee & Hornbeam.
- Safe driving.
- Work went OK. It was a bit manic this morning, but we coped fine, and I got everything done eventually. And I learned how to do the Waste, which was cool. Even though I could just send stuff back, and not have to deal with it this end…
- Beautiful sunshine. After last night’s wind, I’m not surprised there’s no cloud about.
- I got a Monopoly game from The Times newspaper today. And I get Scrabble tomorrow, all being well. Mom is going up to the shop to ask them to drop one in.
- I found some more DVD’s to rent for mom.
- Hot coffee.
- Playing with Wenna. She’s been combed today, and it’s removed a huge amount of hair.
- Mom’s flowers arrived, and they’re really beautiful. Bunches have an amazing service.
- I’m off work tomorrow.
- Lani Nash’s new songs. I’m really loving If You’re Leaving and So Far So Good. They’re both stunning.
- I’ve sorted out dad’s Father’s Day present for this year - a magazine subscription.
- Wenna has a new brush, which is removing a lot of excess fur.
- A couple of tasty sandwiches.
- Playing the Monopoly game was entertaining.
- A couple of tasty sandwiches.
- I found some vest carriers. This is going to save a lot of hassle on the front tills.
- Not having 2 mugs of coffee.
- Playing at being a lobster. Frankincense, Rosewood, Bergamot and Lavender. Very soothing.
- Cold cold water.
- We’re going to the river tomorrow, with some bread, and I’m going to take the camera.
- The boots are back!
- Having the afternoon/evening to myself.
- Healing. Some old scars from when I was about 9 are starting to resolve.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
Things I want to manifest:
- A clear head. MANIFESTED.
- A quick, simple, easy day at work. MANIFESTED.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Showed a colleague how to do something.
- Stayed over after work to finish off what I should have done earlier.
- Saved a load of pens for the front tills. We’re always running out down there.

They’re great, aren’t they? They really capture the spirit of what I try to convey here.

Our Monopoly set never had any money in it, because I kept losing it.
We’re going to a local beauty spot tomorrow, which means I get to feed and photograph the ducks.
