Things I’m Grateful For on Friday 4 April

I’ve found these things to be grateful for or appreciate today:

  1. A good night’s sleep.
  2. My SNES controller arrived today, and I’ve been trying it out. It works, but it’s a bit “sticky”, so I’m going to buy another one. I think it’s because this isn’t an official SNES controller, but one of those “high speed” ones.
  3. I’m not in work until 1PM.
  4. Lovefilm have sent me another disk.
  5. Cold milk.
  6. I have 2 days off from tomorrow.
  7. Breakfast cereals.
  8. Hot coffee.
  9. Having time to myself before work.
  10. I fixed the controller, and now it works great. :chili:
  11. Safe driving.
  12. Work went well.
  13. I had OK to good customers all day.
  14. We’ve had nice weather all day.
  15. Laughing with Vicki and Julie.
  16. Trying out mint and vanilla chewing gum. It’s surprisingly nice.
  17. I got fuel on the way back from work.
  18. I made 27p for doing nothing.
  19. The total waste of the time I spent playing Legend Of Zelda. I love this game as much now as I did then. :broccoli:
  20. Wenna.
  21. Having spare cash.
  22. Realising that some days, I need to try harder.
  23. Chatting to Jackie.

Things I’ve laughed at today:

  1. Laughed with Vicki.

Things I want to manifest:

  1. .

Things I’ve done for others:

  1. Served on the till.
  2. Made my colleagues laugh.

They probably don’t either, but they don’t like to ask. :) It’s a joypad thing, for the Super Nintendo games console. It lets me play the game without using the keyboard, which makes it much easier.

I love Legend of Zelda, too. Never finished it, though. Shortman (my controller partner) got too old to be interested in it.

Thank you for asking, gafarmwoman, as I was one of the ones who didn’t like to ask :)

Actually I thought I’d let it pass until today, when I decided it was a recurrent theme so I’d better find out, but you beat me to it!

I got to the point where I just kept playing the end boss over and over, so I figured it was time to put the SNES down and walk away…..

Do I tend to write without any kind of context? Is this a problem for people? Other people have mentioned it in passing, but I didn’t think it was that big a problem?
