Things I’m Grateful For on Monday 28 April
I’ve found these things to be grateful for or appreciate today:
- Getting a good night’s sleep.
- Cold milk.
- I get paid in 2 days.
- I’m not in work until 1PM.
- Warm clothing.
- I have a nice, simple job to go to. It pays the bills.
- I have plenty of fuel in the car.
- One of the businesses I loan to on Kiva has finally been fully funded.
- A nice hot shower.
- Bamboo flannels.
- My glasses.
- I realised yesterday how much I miss being in flow, and writing. I really want to do that more often. I thoroughly enjoyed writing the articles on how to get lots of Entrecard traffic, and how to maximise the speed at which you drop your Entrecard. I’ve also got a couple of new articles planned - a beginners guide to Entrecard, and some miscellaneous Entrecard tips.
- Safe driving.
- Work went well. A calm, smooth day. Quite pleasant.
- Chatting to my regulars.
- Laughing with Dinky, as usual.
- Drinking 1L of water.
- Getting some change for the parking.
- The fuel economy on my car.
It’s amazing how little fuel I can use if I drive carefully. I drove to and from work today (1hr 20mins), and the gauge has hardly moved, because I drove with an awareness of how much fuel would be consumed if I put my foot down. - I’ve filled up the tank on the car tonight, which should last me a good fortnight. For those of you outside the UK, there is a fuel crisis predicted, due to a potential strike by workers at a large refinery. Nat has also said that she has half a tankful in her car, and that I can have some of it while she’s away.
- A tasty evening meal - cheese and potato pie with Branston pickle.
- Working on my new blog. It’s still in a rather raw state (I still have the Hello World post on it!) so I shan’t be unveiling it for a few days. It’s called Random Blatherings, and will contain stream of conciousness posts, poetry, meme’s, cooking recipes and Entrecard stuff. And quite probably some swearing, too.
- Having a new project to work on.
- Having the money to pay for the new project.
- My readers, and especially my commenter’s.
- Ice cream.
- Drinking 1L of water.
- Coming up with lots more ideas for Entrecard articles. I really enjoy writing them.
- Hot instant coffee. It’s decaffeinated, which is essential, seeing as how it’s 10:30 PM. And it’s delicious. Gold silk being poured down my throat.
- Dropping 600 Entrecards. Phew.
- I’ve decided to get an early night tonight, and get up early tomorrow morning, and do some more writing.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
- Laughed with Dinky.
Things I want to manifest:
- A nice, quick, easy, simple day at work. MANIFESTED.
- Lots of TPC sales. WONT KNOW UNTIL TOMORROW.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Fetched the milk in.
- Served lots of customers.
- Recommended some meals Dinky could prepare for her husband, for their special day.
- Agreed to create a menu for said meal.
- Made Nat a hot drink.

i await the “how you, too, can use entrecards”
i plan on taking notes.

April 28th, 2008 at 7:54 pmWow, you have quite a drive to/from work, eh? Do you listen to books on CD on the way, or just use the time for thinking over the day etc.. (and, er, driving carefully, of course.)
April 28th, 2008 at 10:41 pmI tend to put the radio on, and talk to myself. I have long conversations about nothing, or I calm myself down if I’ve had a bad day.
April 28th, 2008 at 11:39 pmI am all about saving fuel. Visiting my son and his wife for the past week I have spent more for fuel than I have for a very long time. It makes me feel like buying a bicycle while I am here, so I can get around without using gas.

It’d certainly be cheaper. And healthier.
Neither can I! My host has taken it offline while they update their records. I think I might be taking advantage of the 30 day money back guarantee….
