Things I’m Grateful For

Things I’m Grateful For on Tuesday 1 April

I’ve found these things to be grateful for or appreciate today:

  1. A good night’s sleep.
  2. I’m on lates again today, instead of earlies.
  3. Breakfast cereals.
  4. The Entrecard advert I ordered arrived this morning. I’m going to upload it to Entrecard later on today, so you should see it pop up at some point in the near future.
  5. My parcel arrived. It’s a book I ordered from Amazon.
  6. The alarm on my mobile phone. I would never wake up in time without it.
  7. I realised last night that when I stood up to Mandy, I just did it. I didn’t think about it, or get worried, or scared. I just did it. I am so proud of myself that I did this.
  8. I feel closer to action than I ever have before.
  9. The blog contest opens today. :broccoli: Get commenting if you want to win, folks! :)
  10. I have 6 pages of fregair to catch up on tonight.
  11. I’m confident that I can do my job.
  12. My reliable car.
  13. I know I can eat healthily at work again today.
  14. I have confidence that my life will work out the way I make it.
  15. Safe driving.
  16. Work went OK. I had fairly good customers all day.
  17. I hate healthily for the most part, apart from a Kitkat, and some Minstrels which I shared out.
  18. Alice Peacock.
  19. I saved some money by using my staff discount card.
  20. I treated myself to a sudoku puzzle book.
  21. The bonnet latch on my car works. I don’t like to imagine how much trouble would be caused by the bonnet of my car flying up into the air while I’m driving.
  22. I’m getting paid the rest of my wages next month, which means I’ll have a huge pay packet.
  23. I have enough money this month to cover my bills, and enough left over for a couple of treats.
  24. A tasty evening meal.
  25. Hot coffee.
  26. I have 4 surveys to do. :chili:
  27. Working on Entrecard.
  28. I save £2.30 tomorrow.
  29. I’ve added another plugin that will allow you to edit your comments. You can now fix your typo’s. Sorry Bee!
  30. Playing with Wenna.
  31. I have extra hours tomorrow.
  32. I had fun doing the sudoku puzzles earlier. :cucumber:
  33. My lovely comfortable bed.

Things I’ve laughed at today:

  1. Laughed with Vicki and Julie.

Things I want to manifest:

  1. Action towards getting a new job. As in, going to the job centre website and applying for 10 jobs.

Things I’ve done for others:

  1. Served lots of customers.
  2. Shared some chocolates round.
  3. Shared the wealth about a bit.

Gah, I meant “I’ve.” I’m grateful that I normally don’t muck up grammar like that!

Congratulations on standing up for yourself!! And, even better that you just did it… that means that the boundaries you set are becoming part of your personality, to be enforced without second-guessing!

I thought that I was the only one who used their mobile to wake them up…

Is it April already?!? Yoikes!! I’m still trying to get ready for Christmas [mentally, lol!]

Thank you for your help with my blog… I may have found something that’ll do the job… It’s amazing how much more you can accomplish when you’re not exhausted :-)!!

At the moment, it’s Wealth 101, by Peter McWilliams, Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude by Napoleon Hill and W. Clement Stone, and The Mammoth Hunters by Jean M. Auel. Are you joining in with the contest?

It’s great, isn’t it? Up until now, I’d have to stop and think about what to say, and rehearse the conversation from all angles. Yesterday, I just told her to stop patronising me, without even realising what I was doing.

I only paid $6 to have the advert done, and I think it looks quite nice.

People always think I’m grumpy when I’m tired. I’m not, it’s just that my brain is working at half speed, and I can’t focus properly on what they’re saying.

That’s true. I never thought of the bonnet hinge like that. Usually I’m worried that it’s going to rust through.

And it doesn’t leave you twitching at the end of the day. Unless you’re me - I tend to think of something to add right as the computer plays it’s shutdown music.

Thank you very much. I honestly never thought about it until that day, I suppose because I can do editing anyway.
