Things I’m Grateful For on Tuesday 29 April

I’ve found these things to be grateful for or appreciate today:

  1. The commenting leaderboard stands as follows:
    1. Quin, with 25 points.
    2. Ree, with 24 points.
    3. Bob C/LaVeda, with 23 points each.
    • Remember, the contest closes at midnight GMT tomorrow. Now is the time to refer someone, if you want to earn 5 easy extra points. Just get them to mention your name when you comment. There’s not much difference between the leaders, so 5 points will make a big difference. Please don’t give me a tie breaker.
  2. Getting to sleep early, then getting up early and writing another article, this time on how to use Firefox to drop 300 Entrecard’s in 15 minutes.
  3. Hot coffee.
  4. I have plenty of change for the parking meter.
  5. I’m not in work until 1PM, so I have plenty of time this morning to do jobs that need doing.
  6. Working on the new blog. Fixed a few problems, and created a few others to fix.
  7. I think I can see some flower buds on the Black Panther Streptocarpus.
  8. Firefox’s built in spellchecker.
  9. The weather looks to be nice and dry today.
  10. Nail clippers. If you’ve ever tried to trim your nails with a pair of scissors, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
  11. I have a water bottle to take to work with me.
  12. Having enough time to do everything before work. Everything seems to be dropping into place - shower, breakfast, blogs, dressing for work, etc.
  13. The little warning that Firefox pops up when you don’t save the changes on a page. It saves me so much hassle. :chili:
  14. Safe driving.
  15. The gorgeous Gorse bush I see on my way to work. It’s literally dripping with flowers.
  16. Loudly singing along to Karma Chameleon by Boy George, on the way to work. Yes, I am apparently that camp.
  17. Work went well. I had a lot of ideas for the Entrecard guides while I had a quiet spell. I was idly doing Fregair about it, and managed to fill one side of a piece of paper in just a couple of minutes. :cucumber:
  18. I did really well on TPC’s yesterday, which is good.
  19. Chatting to Dinky. We always seem to have a good time, talking about nothing.
  20. A new PCSO. Slurp.
  21. Eating a sufficiency.
  22. Chatting to my regulars.
  23. A tasty evening meal.
  24. Ice cream. Of the hazelnut variety.
  25. Dropping 600 Entrecard’s.
  26. Hot coffee.
  27. I get paid tomorrow. Finally.
  28. Writing a beginner’s guide to Entrecard.

Things I’ve laughed at today:

  1. I was listening to the radio on the way to work, and they were discussing imaginary friends. One woman rang in live, and explained how she had one. I seem to recall having an entire peer group of imaginary friends.

Things I want to manifest:

  1. A nice, quick, simple & easy day at work. MANIFESTED.
  2. Lots of TPC sales. HOPEFULLY.
  3. Getting the hosting sorted.

Things I’ve done for others:

  1. Wrote another guide to using Entrecard.
  2. Shared the wealth. :)
  3. Served lots of customers in a professional manner.

I am all meh about Entrecard right now. I guess I should start again. It is just so time consuming! That plugin sounds interesting!

Have a look at the article I wrote. Here’s one about dropping quickly & here’s one about using Firefox to help.

At least you’re never lonely. :)

I don’t recall what mine was called. I do remember that he used to live in my wrist, though. I have no idea why that was, either.

Another great list of things. You continue to remind me to give thanks and be grateful. Today I am grateful that many of my health problems are no longer plaguing me. I feel GOOD.

    Hi-

Liosliath (LiLi) asked me to check out your site - she’s doing some work with the Law of Attraction, and mentioned this as giving her some ideas for a ‘Gratitude Journal’ - albeit online, lol. I just started putting my website/blog together (ok, she actually did it, I just provide the content!) but this gives me some ideas. Thanks!

Well, as for Karma Chameleon, I’m in that camp, too. Except I’m never sure whether to sing “Red Gold and Green” or “With Golden Dreams” - I should probably look up the lyrics.

I was singing along to “West End Girls” in the market today. Yes, I am a dork.

My father in-law (Bob/ExpressingOpinions.com)is visiting from the mainland and showed me your web site. So very cool. I hope our site looks as good when we are done building it. Great idea for postings.

Sounds like you’re really rockin’ the Entrecard! I could have used some extra change for parking meters today. I was digging into my seat cushions! hope you’re having a great week :)

    What’s the address? :D

I’m 99% sure it’s “Red, gold and green”. That’s what I was singing, anyway, and nobody corrected me.

Thank you for the compliment. They’re always welcome.

I have to scrat about on my dashboard, because my seat cushions aren’t actually cushions - they’re more like deckchairs.
