Things I’m Grateful For on Sunday 18 May
Today’s list of things to be grateful for or appreciate:
- Getting a good night’s sleep.
- I have the whole day to myself.
- Hot coffee.
- Playing with Wenna.
- I can avoid meeting the visitor that’s coming today.
- I have some more mealworm pupae.
- I’m the only bidder on an ebay auction, and if I win the item, I’ll be able to make a good deal of money with it.
- Finding out some more interesting info about mealworms and humidity.
- Having some biscuits to feed Wenna. I got some for free from work, and I keep them upstairs as treats for her.
- Mom has a sprayer that I can use to spray water on the mealworms.
- I’ve been paid back by another $4 on Kiva.org. I’m up to $393 now.
- Breakfast cereals.
- I’m off work all day.
- Seeing a Magpie in the garden.
- Playing Pokémon again.
- 3 slices of coffee cake.
- Finding another 2 mealworm pupae. I now have 20. It looks like I’m going to be able to establish a breeding colony pretty soon.
The sooner I can start feeding these worms to the birds, the better. - I won an auction on ebay.
- Fiddling about a bit with Entrecard. I got much more Google traffic after using it.
- Mom has offered me some Sanseveria plants to sell on ebay.
- A nice hot shower.
- More hot coffee.
- Completing a Sudoku puzzle in 7m49s. My personal best, I think.
- Tasty bacon sandwiches.
- The hour I spent watching Wild China. This fascinating series takes you on a tour of China’s wildlife and people, and shows you sights you’ve never seen before. Absolutely stunning. I want to see it in HD.
- Finding another 5 pupae. I really must get some bright green substrate. The larvae and pupae are really similar in colour to the bran, which makes them difficult to see. Apparently.
- Hot Earl Grey tea.
- I’m doing news tomorrow.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
- Mom flicking the light switch on and off. When I was a child, I’d do the same thing, and mom would shout at me, so I told her off about doing it today. We were both laughing at one another, recounting stories from my childhood.
- I was speaking to mom on the phone yesterday, when her battery died. I called back a few times, but obviously couldn’t get through. Her network provider sent her a text message, saying that [name@number] had called 4 times. She texted me from the living room (I was in my bedroom) to say that she didn’t understand.
- Nearly showing my glory to everyone in the living room.
Things I want to manifest:
- An activity filled day.
Things I’ve done for others:
- .
