Things I’m Grateful For on Tuesday 1 July
Today’s list of things to be grateful for or appreciate:
- Delicious hot Teeccino. I love it. I can drink as much as I want, at any time of day, without worrying for my health or having problems sleeping.
- I’m not in work until 1:15 today.
- 5-minute snoozes. Awake at 9:00, up at 9:30.
- A good night’s sleep.
- Hot fruit tea.
- A bacon sandwich. I haven’t had one in ages.
- I can rely on my car to get me to work, since it is reliable and has half a tank of fuel.
- Having time to myself before work.
- I have more than enough change for the parking meter.
- I’m feeling a calmness flow over me, about today. I will survive.
It’s just a drop in a bucket. - Work went OK.
- Being very aware of my emotional state. And also being in control of it.
- I had OK-to-good customers all day.
- I’ve been given a disciplinary, but I really don’t care. I’m to receive it on Monday, but will I give the slightest bit of a damn in a years time? 5 years time? 50 years time? I don’t think so, somehow…
- Laughing with Dinky.
- Hot Teeccino.
- I always have an out. I have enough money to live on for about 4 months. Longer, if I’m careful.
- Finding a couple of interesting looking jobs on the Jobseeker website.
- I have a job interview on Saturday.
- Watching the rain come pelting down suddenly. It has that rain smell, which is really nice.
- I just realised - I’ve been through for worse things than a disciplinary at work. I’ve had suicidal episodes. The disciplinary is going to be a walk in the park.
- More Teeccino.
- The money from my Paypal account has finally been transferred into my bank account.
- Cheering myself up.
- My imagination.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
- Mom cleaning to the hoover pipe in the sink.
- This lolcat. And this one too.
- Kelley. NSFW.
Things I want to manifest:
- A quick, pleasant day at work, with a successful resolution. MANIFESTED, KIND OF.
- Emotional strength & fortitude. MANIFESTED.
- My desk tidied off.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Served lots of customers.
- Gave Nat a back rub.

I will always be grateful for Starbuck’s Mochas, my husband and kids and Tivo. The order changes depending on how the lids are behaving.

July 1st, 2008 at 7:51 pmHey Solomon! I’m likin’ the attitude today - fiesty! lol. A disciplinary - big deal huh! Like you say - you’ve been through worse! You won’t care about it in a fortnights time - let alone in a years time! You’re a survivor!
Hope the rest of your week goes well - good luck with your Job interview on Saturday. Stay Beautiful!
