Things I’m Grateful For on Sunday 30 November
Sunday, November 30th, 2008Today’s list of things to be grateful for or appreciate:
- Getting a good night’s sleep.
- I’m going to earn some money today. S has mentioned that I can leave at whatever time I want.
- Breakfast cereals.
- My nice warm bed.
- 1 minute snoozes.
- Wanda Sykes’ thoughts on gay marriage:
- Having a battery charger to charge the car battery with. I’m pretty sure that that’s what the problem is.
- I’m not working with Joe Public today. At all.
- I get to wear whatever clothes I want so I can pick warm ones.
- That habit, if nothing else, keeps me doing this blog. On days like today, when I get out of bed the wrong way, and feed the wrong wolf, it’s still here to pull me back to the path I want to be on.
- De-icer. Such a fantastic invention.
- My wheat bag. I will get a lot of use from it on the way to work today.
- The weather is dry, at least.
- I’ve bought myself a battery charge tester off ebay. This should help me confirm my theory.
- Safe driving.
- Work was OK. We got a fair bit done, and I really helped S out by going, so that’s good karma.
- I got a Subway sandwich.
- It was time-and-a-half, so I get paid 13 hours. Which is more than my weekly contracted hours.
- I scored loads of free stuff.
- Tasty biscuits.
- Laughing with everybody.
- My wheat bag made a cold journey much much warmer.
- My car started first time this evening.
- A tasty bacon sandwich.
- A lovely hot shower.
- Hot coffee.
- Finding a webcam at work. It’s quite cheap, has a decent sensor, and most importantly, has a microphone attached. If I can get it working OK, I might start using Skype again.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
- This loldog.
- This lolcat. And this one. And also this one.
Things I want to manifest:
- A quick, pleasant day at the new store. MANIFESTED.
Things I’ve done for others:
- Fetched some shopping.
