Things I’m Grateful For on Tuesday 18 November
Today’s list of things to be grateful for or appreciate:
- Getting a good night’s sleep.
- Weird dreams that I can’t recall. Lots of driving around roundabouts, in what appeared to be the countryside.
- Awareness of how thoughts work. As I thought about the dream I had, just, a very similar situation appeared in my head. I haven’t thought about that situation for years, yet there it was. The brain does make some very interesting connections.
- Breakfast cereals. I’m back to Weetos again now.
- I’m off work all day.
- Smodging on Wenna for a few seconds this morning. It literally was a few seconds, because she was waiting to go on her walk.
- I have some stuff to get done today. Read: I get to play with my distraction more.
- Dry weather. Not that I’m going anywhere but it’s always nice to have the sun shining in through the window.
- Listening to Amanda Marshall.
- Cold milk.
- Getting up at 9AM. I feel less like I’ve wasted the day when I do this.
- A book light I ordered from Grabitnow has arrived. It was only a few quid, and will do as a present for mom for Xmas.
- Playing about with the distraction. I have another version of it now.
- Bacon, potato cakes and beetroot for lunch. Very nice.
- Playing with Wenna.
- A nice hot shower. Very pleasant.
- Finding out how to set a default font type and size in OpenOffice. This is going to save me a lot of hassle and fiddling.
- Working on the distraction a lot more.
- Watching Spooks.
- Hot coffee.
- A tasty evening meal.
Things I’ve laughed at today:
- This loldog. And this one. And this one too. And also this one.
- This lolfox.
- This lollemur.
- This fail.
Things I want to manifest:
- A tidy desk.
- A cleared clothes pile.
- More time spent on the distraction. MANIFESTED.
Things I’ve done for others:

I really like the idea of your blog. With friends, I used to do this thing every november, where every day we would write an email to each other saying 5 things we were thankful for. I expect to see an epic post on Thanksgiving Day.

Great list. The bacon, potato cakes and beetroot sounds good. Reminds me it is past lunch time here.
Have a good day.

It was dry and sunny here today, but the FREEZING cold wind about drove me back into the house.

Same here. Well, apart from the leaving the house bit. Unless standing on the back doorstep watching mom peg the washing out counts.
