Things I’m grateful for or that I’ve appreciated today:

1. Getting up in plenty of time for work.
2. Forcing myself out of bed when I didn’t want to get up.
3. Bunches have sorted out an order for me.
4. I’m not in work until 1PM.
5. Getting those extra hours on Sunday.
6. Having time to myself before work.
7. I am so glad I don’t have children. That might sound a bit odd, but I realised a long time ago that I didn’t want to buy into the cultural command that I should have children. And I’ve never regretted making that decision.
8. Hot coffee.
9. Original Source are offering free samples again.
10. Figuring out that the weird crackling noise I heard in bed last night was coming from the speakers, not electricity arcing across a gap somewhere.
11. Firefox’s spellcheck feature.
12. I’ve been paid back by another $9 on Kiva.org. I’m up to $191 now.
13. I’ve removed the “” tag from all the URL’s on the site. Now, when Google visits the site, it will index all the links made in comments, instead of ignoring them.
14. Safe driving.
15. Having change for the parking meter.
16. Work went well. I had no problems all day.

18. Stir fry for tea.
19. Hot fruit tea.
20. My tester cans of Coke have arrived from Lightspeed. I have to drink them, then answer a short survey in 3 days time. Apparently I earn 400 points for doing this, which equates to about £4 that I can claim back through Paypal.
21. I’m going to watch some Firefly later. Out of Gas, I think.
22. Tinkering with the blog layout.
23. Chilled coke.
24. I’m not in work until 1PM tomorrow, which should be quiet, then I’m off on Saturday.
25. My life is getting better and better all the time.

27. There was a plane crash today, at Heathrow airport. Nobody was seriously hurt. Have a read of the full story here. That whole situation could have been way way worse.
28. I’ve successfully edited the blog software. Go me!
29. I’ve just had a telephone call from Tesco. They want me to go down for a job interview on Monday.
30. Firefly was excellent. As always.
31. My wheat bag. I love getting into a cold bed and sticking my feet on it. It’s fantastic.
32. I’ve decided to get my profile picture updated tomorrow morning. It’s about time I got it fixed.
33. My wheat bag not catching fire when I microwaved it. As I took it out I heard one of the wheat kernels go pop.
