Things I’m Grateful For on Sunday 27 April

I’ve found these things to be grateful for or appreciate today:

  1. At the time of posting, which is Midday GMT, the commenting leaderboard stands as follows:
    1. Ree, with 24 points.
    2. LaVeda, with 23 points.
    3. Quin, with 22 points.
    • Remember, to get an easy 5 extra points, get one of your readers to mention your name when they comment.
  2. A good night’s sleep. I was having lots of spy type dreams, but I think that that was because of watching Chuck, more so than because of any desire on my part to be a spy.
  3. Hot coffee.
  4. Having a really good time playing with Wenna. It started when Wenna decided she wanted to go into the bathroom with mom, because mom was going to have a shower. Apparently, she can tell that if my mom is wearing her dressing gown, that she’s going to have a shower. Anyway, after mom got out of the shower, Wenna, Nat and I all decided to try to get into the shower. Cue much splashing of water and Wenna jumping in and out of the bath. Then we took it outside, with the hosepipe. Nat did try to get a photograph, but Wenna started hiding up the corner, so I figured she’d had enough. I’m not sure whether she really likes the water, or whether she really dislikes it, but she runs up to it and tries to drink/bite it. Anyway, she got dried off with both a towel and hair dryer.
  5. Tasty cake.
  6. I got 7% on TPC’s on Friday, which is way better than I expected to do. Note to self: just goes to show that just because you don’t see it working, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t.
  7. My pyjamas. I hiked the trouser legs up earlier when I was playing with the water, something I’d have had difficulty doing with ordinary trousers, as there’s no elastic in the leg cuff.
  8. Using Last.fm to listen to some new music. You punch in an artist or music style that you like, and it plays artists it thinks you might like.
  9. Nat helped me get the washing in from the rain.
  10. All of the blogs are now up to date, with the latest version of Wordpress.
  11. Dropping 300 Entrecards in less than 20 minutes, and advertising on lots of different websites. I really need to build this back up again. I’m glad that I can drop Entrecard cards so fast, though. :chili:
  12. The nice warm shower I treated myself to after dropping the cards.
  13. A tasty bacon sandwich, with brown sauce.
  14. Finding a rather cool Wordpress plugin that allows one to modify the look and feel of the Wordpress Dashboard. By using this plugin, I’ve “skinned” the Dashboard, and now the horrid orange colour scheme is gone, to be replaced with a much better green and pale blue one.
  15. Being inspired to create - I want to take some photographs.
  16. Getting a few (hopefully) nice shots of the new growth in the garden. The batteries for the camera have died, so I’m recharging them.
  17. I’m writing an article that will help you drop your Entrecard quickly. It’s designed to enable you to make 300 drops daily, in the least possible time.
  18. I found £40 in my trouser pocket, that I didn’t know I had.
  19. Meatballs for tea.
  20. All the cool artists I’ve been listening to while writing.
  21. That the muse has grabbed hold of me, and caused me to write. It’s been so long since I wrote any tutorials - I think the last I wrote was for Smitty’s Tavern, which must have been about 2 years ago.
  22. Finishing the article.
  23. Ice cream.
  24. Having a job list to do.
  25. A meringue. Very tasty.
  26. A nice long soak in a nice hot bath.
  27. Cold water.
  28. I’ve tidied up the clothes pile, and cleaned off the desk. Yes, I did this a couple of days ago. Yes, I am that slovenly.
  29. Writing another article on how to get lots of Entrecard traffic. In it, I explain how to get lots of Entrecard drops every day.
  30. Getting lots of jobs completed.

Things I’ve laughed at today:

  1. Wenna’s antics.
  2. Mom exaggerating the amount of water in the bathroom.
  3. Massage pants.

Things I want to manifest:

  1. Getting closer to my joy. MANIFESTED. The article.

Things I’ve done for others:

  1. Played with Wenna.
  2. Dried her off.
  3. Found Nat’s SD card for her camera.

It’s a fantastic way to get lots of free advertising and traffic for your blog. You visit other people’s blogs, which earns you credits, that you then use to buy advertising on other people’s blogs, so you get traffic in return. I’ve seen my traffic jump to 5 times what it was originally, and more.

I’m glad you got a laugh from the Massage Pants. When I read about them I thought it was some sort of a joke, but realized they were real.

If you could purchase one it would be a great contest giveaway. I wonder how many people would compete to get a pair?

    Bobs last blog post…Massage Pants

I reckon it would be a good idea to put a video of them in action on Youtube to get more contest entrants.

I used to love Pandora, but they’ve blocked access to it from outside of the US, which is a shame. Last.fm is bringing me some interesting artists, though, which is cool. :)

Yeah! I don’t often wear these trousers, and usually I know exactly where all my cash is, so it was a nice surprise. :)
